Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 418, 28 September 1917

418. Tombstone in the yard of the church "st. Archangel michael" [in] the village of kasapkoi, northern dobruja, roughly carved from gray limestone. On its face is engraved a frieze of reclining rulers. On its upper side are carved three holes - incense burners. On the face of the slab are carved five crosses, of which the middle one is larger, and the edges of the crosses are extended outwards; around each cross there is an engraved inscription, the date 1829. At the base of the plate is a carved niche for a pointed arch. Dimensions: 80x58x30 cm. Sketched on 28. Ix. 1917 (t. 9, obr. 54. ). Date: 28 September 1917.
