The old "fountain," in the minories. Formerly an inn, demolished in 1793. Over the fireplace in the dining room was the date of 1480. The court at the back (in 1798) was called "fountain yard" in ancient times "london prentice yard". Full explanation. Date: 1873 (1887 copy).
