genre scene. Interior scene: paris, “café de commerce”. Characters: three men, one of whom wears glasses, are playing a game of dominoes. Several men sit around a stove lined with tiles while a boy takes care of stoking the fire. One is watching the game of dominoes at the next table while two others seem to be listening to a newspaper being read. Another waiter serves two women at the back of the room. Two groups, one of three men, the other of a man and a woman, are talking. A cartel is attached to the wall. Mode of acquisition: purchase
