Carl Axel Wachtmeister, 1 January 1785

Count carl axel wachtmeister (1754-1810) depicted in the small seraphim costume with its blue band over the shoulder. Around the neck, the order of the north star is visible in its black band, and on the chest and mantle the crash of the order of seraphim. The portrait is probably a 19th-century copy of ulrica pasch's portrait of wachtmeister from about 1785, when wachtmeister became a seraphim knight in 1784. Date: 1 January 1785.
