The Helge of Troense, Denmark., Reuben Chappell, between 1893 and 1917
The helge (callsign nfqv) was built by zakarias th. Jacobsen (yard no. 1) at troense on the island of tåsinge in 1893. She was a three masted schooner. Her owners were a partnership in troense led by j. Nielsen. In december 1916 she was taken over by the a/s lillebelt in fredericia. On may 3, 1917 she was sunk by a german submarine in the north sea while travelling from newcastle to nakskov. The crew of six took to the boat and were rescued on the following day.
