On the left is david van mollem, baptized october 5, 1670, silk manufacturer and founder of the silk factory and country estate zijdebalen, died july 8, 1746. In the middle is his son-in-law jacob sydervelt with his second wife, maria van oosterwijck and the two children from this marriage. The two sons from his first marriage, grandsons of david van mollem, stand between the two men, the youngest near a mulberry tree with silkworms. Object Type: painting. Genre: family portrait.
