Luigi ferdinando marsigli (1658 — 1730) and johann christoph müller (1673 — 1721) renewed the map image of the carpathian basin by using astronomical positions. Their map work entitled "mappa generalis" shows the river from kahlenberg above vienna to the jantra river in bulgaria. This river section was divided into 18 sections and each section was presented on a separate section. Date: 1726.
