The norfolk island kākā (nestor productus) is an extinct species of large parrot with a prominent beak. Its plumage was olive-brown, with an orange throat and straw-coloured breast. Plate 6 shows "nestor norfolcensis" and the head of "nestor productus". The former is nowadays regarded as a synonym of the latter. From the plate in the bulletin of the liverpool museum.
