A pair of m 290. 0 wagons brought here, as part of test and demonstration runs on tuesday, june 30, a delegation of journalists from prague and bratislava to the central moravian exhibition – an important event of the time, which was visited by half a million people from june 20 to august 16, and which also included the largest railway exposition in czechoslovakia up to that time. The train, which arrived from prague, left at 8:10 a. M. From wilson (today hlavní) station and arrived in přerov at 11:18 a. M. , covering the 274 km long track in 3 hours and 8 minutes. The picture rarely captures both m 290. 0 series cars together, and also shows the original coating of the upper part of the roof, which was different from the rest of the car body. According to contemporary descriptions, the car body was cherry red, while the roof was the color of old gold. Date: 30 June 1936.
