Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 485, 3 November 1917

485. Cross - tombstone, in the old cemeteries of the town. Balchik made of grindstone in 1890. Four-winged; the upper three wings are serrated, the lower wing is the largest and is driven straight into the ground. Parallel to the outer contour (leaving a narrow strip) the field of the cross is hollowed out so that they remain in relief: one rosette - at the upper end; a cross - in the middle with two fins on its upper wing. On the side of the cross, under the side wings, two cypresses are made. In the relief cross is carved another cross, four-winged, the upper and side wings of which are the same, and the lower one is longer and ends with a triangular base. All this is on the reverse side of the monument. There is an embossed date inscription on the face. Dimensions: 74x40x17 cm. Sketched on 3. Xi. 1917. (t. 10, obr. 19. ). Date: 3 November 1917.
