Victoria adelaide mary louise (1840-1901), known as ‘vicky’ to her family, was the eldest child of queen victoria. Image description: line drawing; an infant in long dress, in profile looking to the viewer's right. She is held by a woman whose face is mostly obscured. At the right of the image is part of a bird-cage on a table, with a small bird inside the object of the baby's attention. Inscriptions: bottom centre, "victoria"; bottom left "v. R.
