Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 338, 4 October 1917

338. Tombstone with crosses in the cemeteries of the village. Cherna, machinska okoliya, tulchanski district, carved from a whetstone. The upper part of the monument is round and the lower quarter. On the face is carved a four-winged isosceles cross with triangular wings, surrounded by three engraved concentric circles; on the face of the lower one another [cross] is carved, the upper wing of which is destroyed, thus making the cross six-winged; the lower wing is very small and the lateral ones long. It was made before the russian-turkish war. Dimensions: 46x23x15 cm. Sketched on 4. X. 1917 (t. 9, obr. 25. ). Date: 4 October 1917.
