Åkerö slott flygel, interiör, 1968, Johan Pasch

Åkerö castle, interior of one wing, wallpaper in trompe l'œil style. The wall in the largest room in the north wing has an illusionistic technique, the theme was "an uncleaned hall". The wallpaper suite was originally executed by johan pasch in 1753 for läckö castle, which was given to carl gustaf tessin (1695-1770) as a lease, and then moved to åkerö after tessin's death in 1770 after they had been in the tessinska palace in stockholm. Date: 1968.
