iconographic description:
illustration for "choses vus" in edition hugues (1889), page 8. A note from the edition specifies: "barbès, bernard, blanqui had prepared an insurrection; after entering the store of the gunsmith lepage, they seized a certain number of weapons, marched on the conciergerie post to seize the police headquarters. Lieutenant drouineau, commander of the post, fell mortally wounded; at the police headquarters, the insurgents were pushed back and took possession of the city hall.
