Pine and mahongy cabinet, of 1858, with roof-like sloping top and painted and gilded scenes representing literature, the alphabet and printing. Designed by william burges, made by harland & fisher in london and painted by sir edward poynter. Victoria and albert museum, museum nimber circ 217-1961.
