The kabuki actors (right) ichikawa monnosuke ii as goinosuke yoshimine no yasusada, (centre) segawa kikunojo iii as the courtesan sumizome, and (left) otani hiroji iii as yoshizane’s servant shikishima wakahei, in reality hatano daizen taketora, in the play ‘junihitoe komachi zakura’ (重重人重小町桜, also written 重重小町桜) by segawa joko i, performed at the kiri-za in the 11th month of 1784 (tenmei 4).
