Album of a set of 26 leaves, this one: no. 8, inventory 95 of (75 to 100). Paper, 28x18cm. Several leaves very damaged. Some covered with half-illegible inscriptions. Rough and crude workmanship, of uneven quality, violence which sometimes results in a technical stammering, vehement formal invention, some astonishing pages (see plates 8 and 9). The original order of the leaves seems to have been mixed: initially it must have been several distinct series. Several leaves are signed. As seals, alternately or sometimes simultaneously, a: red (in double circle); white. Date: between 1814 and 1849.
