On the table is placed a statuette of joan of arc, the work of the princess, daughter of king louis-philippe, famous for her sculptures of romantic medieval taste and who disappeared too soon. From its typically neo-gothic living room, fitted out in 1835, come elements of an openwork partition exhibited in the present room (don steinitz, 1998).
