Small salon of princess marie d'orléans (1813-1839) in the tuileries. H. : 0. 74 m.;l. : 1 m. On the table is placed a statuette of joan of arc, the work of the princess, daughter of king louis-philippe, famous for her sculptures of romantic medieval taste and who disappeared too soon. From its typically neo-gothic living room, fitted out in 1835, come elements of an openwork partition exhibited in the present room (don steinitz, 1998). Collection of louis philippe: paid in 1842 deposited at the museum of decorative arts in paris from 1920 to 1999 department of paintings inv. 5545. Date: 1842.
