Note that saint paul's cathedral is behind blackfriars bridge, the simple, lighter, taller structure than it seems today. Note the two shot towers on the south bank, which are neither churches nor lighthouses; they were for making gun/cannon shot by dropping molten lead into deep water barrels from height.
