Horizontal rectangle. Obverse: the head is turned toward the left. Inscription: "bonaparte r[eipublicae] i[talianae] praeses. "* with pencil the length of the square with sides tangent to the medal is indicated at right as pa ("a" superscripted) 3 3/4. Above in the center the caption: "destra. " on the other side is the reverse, caption written by giani with pencil - as the other - "ebe da l'imortalità a origa** d'ercole. " hebe sitting embraced probably by ares upon a couch, holds a pitcher and the bowl, from which the kneeling hercules is drinking immortality. In the background is the biga, with a genius holding the horse. Dimension written as at the other side. * r - i may stand for re d'italia (pdm '79)
