Commemorative medal on the second centenary of the relief of groningen (1862) obverse: the standing groningen city virgin, with a vane over the city coat of arms in her left hand. She stretches the other over a cushion with the keys to the stay, lying on a pedestal with the city coat of arms on the front. Behind the city virgin lies the dutch lion. Caption: safe under my care.
