A city of london couple: a tall and fashionably dressed woman with a tall wig and a calash hood folded back on to her shoulders; she holds out a closed fan and looks towards her much shorter, obese husband who wears an elaborate wig and gold laced coat and waistcoat. 20 june 1772 etching and engraving.
