Petrus paaw (born 1564, died 1617), a dutch botanist and anatomist. This picture was used in his work succenturiatus anatomicus, continens commentaria in hippocratem de capitis vulneribus. Additæ sunt annotationes in aliquot capita libri octavi c. Celsi, which was published in 1616 and is now available in the digital collection of the bayerische staatbibliothek here.
