Description: in the middle three scenes of landscapes in the vicinity of the city of seville. On the left and right the giralda tower in seville. On the left the facade and on the right are opened up, so that it is visible that the stairs of giralda can be climbed on horseback. Center from top to bottom: the ruins of a moorish castle, roman building fragments near the town of gerena and three roman tombs. Print is part of an album. Manufacture. Manufacturer: printmaker: symon novelanus (possibly), printmaker: frans hogenberg (possibly), after a drawing by: joris hoefnagel (mentioned on object), colorist: anna beeck. Place of manufacture: printmaker: cologne printmaker: cologne after drawing by: sevillain colourist: the hague. Date: 1565 and/or 1596. Physical features: torn etching and engraving hand-colored in pink, green, blue and yellow, mounted on album page; a yellow frame with a red border surrounds the scene. The top part with the sky has been glued higher, so that the sky has become higher and the size of the representation matches the other large format representations in the album.
