Sir james wallace, commander of hms experiment, with the pallas, unicorn, fortunae and cabot brigs attacking the danae, valeur, recluse, three french frigates, and a cutter in concale bay. The danae he brought off; the other three being aground he burnt, amidst a smart fire from the battery of six twelve-pounders and several cannon from the shore.
