The virgin holds christ in her arms; a halo emanates from his head and mixes with that of his son. She is followed by joseph and a procession of characters. A servant, alone on the steps, ensures the transition with the high priest located higher up. She carries the two doves offered in sacrifice, as well as a lit candle.
