"the hudson river paddle steamer troy passing the palisades". Troy was built in new york in 1840 by william capes, and was the largest steamboat on the river when completed. The original image was magnified and retouched by tweaking the contrast using curves and increasing image sharpness using unsharp mask in gimp 2. 10 for this upload. Date: circa 1840s.
