Emil österman was 19 years old when he painted the painting, probably after a so-called business card, a photograph. The boys are dressed in black, and the younger one, hans, b. 1888, has pink sashes and socks. In order to cover the costs of studying at the art academy in stockholm, the österman brothers continued to draw portraits after photographs. Date: 1889. Place of creation: Lindö, Sverige.
