My beloved mother! now the mail is rolling in again. Yesterday i had 8 letters forwarded to me! 4 of them were from you. Thank you very much for the letters with writing paper and the beautiful girls and flower cards. Now you have gone to offenbach after all, and i'm really waiting for the mail that you're back. I was worried about the air raid warning. Uncle heinrich wrote to me from lindau on lake constance. He's there to recuperate and you didn't find him at all? did you get a travel permit? or did you not need it at all? how was the trip? a lot of hassle? Date: 26 March 1943.
