Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 33d opening left (1898,1123. 3(32) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(33) recto) with scene from trajan's column: siege of a barbarian camp with roman soldiers scaling walls on ladders c. 1535 pen and brown ink, over black chalk, on vellum (the surface partly rubbed with black chalk).
