Servants amusing themselves; a man dressing a woman's hair while she sits with one foot on a tub, admiring herself in a mirror, watched by a woman standing in front of the fireplace with trimmings on the table in front of her and mimicked by a child on the right while a kitten plays with the ribbons of her hat, with a couple sitting to left, singing and playing the lute, accompanied by a howling dog who sits on a music book marked 'a trio by signr.
