The place de la bastille, shown here in 1830, was created in 1792 where the famous bastille prison was once located. The statue of the elephant that appears in the background was part of a project previously proposed by napoleon to commemorate his army. Date: between 1875 and 1882. Dimensions: 9.2 x 11.8 cm.
