Nina ernestovna was a direct follower and continuer of the traditions of carl faberge, since she worked for carl faberge's firm for several years before 1917. She was the connecting thread between the pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary periods. The artist used russian folk motifs, techniques and technologies of the great jeweler's workshops in developing sketches for products. Date: 1935.
