It shows the appeal for the guillotine of condemned peopls during the last days of the terror (7, 8, 9 thermidor an ii - 25, 26, 27 juillet 1794). During these 3 days, 133 people were condemned and executed. The paintings shows indentifiable persons such as the french poet andré chénier.
