Small square doily, fringed on all sides, with an ivory linen warp and a bright pink silk weft. A figure of a woman dressed as a pink and sitting on the stem of a large pink, with the word pink in the upper left corner, all appearing in ivory on a pink ground. A set of six, the doilies would have been used on the table as part of a dessert service. Date: circa 1891. Dimensions: 18 x 18cm (7 1/16 x 7 1/16in.) fringed on all sides. Medium: linen, silk.
