Ivan Enchev-Vidyu Bulgarian Folk Crosses 404, 30 September 1917

404. Tombstone with crosses in the oldest cemeteries in the yard of the church "st. Georgi" in the village of karamanköy, northern dobrudzha, carved from white limestone in 1871. Its two corners are arched inward on top. A relief ring is carved on its face, and in the middle of the circle a relief cross, the long wing of which is longer than the other three. Around the cross is an engraved inscription, half-erased. Above the cross reads: ["tsar slavi"]. On the three sides, outside the sides, small four-winged crosses are carved. Below, date 1871 engraved on side. Dimensions: 45x51x7 cm; circle diameter 37 cm. Sketched on 30. Ix. 1917 (t. 9, obr. 39. ). Date: 30 September 1917.
