Our army storms the guns of Port Arthur, Nobukazu Yōsai, 1904

The japanese army storms the settlement at port arthur. In february 1904, japan attacked the russian fleet in port arthur harbor. However, the attack on settlement did not begin until august and lasted more than five months. This print dates from march 1904 and therefore shows a fictional battle near the city. The design has been reused, nobukazu released a very similar print in august 1900, following the battle of beijing.
