Outer panel of the high altar at st peter's cathedral in geneva otherwise destroyed during the protestant iconoclasm. The other outer panel depicted the deliverance of st peter, opened the triptych would have shown an adoration of the magi and the presentation of the donors to the virgin and child against a background of gold leaf. With geneva harbor (the "petit lac") representing the sea of galilee the the miraculous peach shows the first topographical accurate representation of a landscape in european art.
