The advertisement sheet of the lágymány residential quarter, károly gerster, (1859-1940). The new entertainment facility was built during the great millennium celebration series, and was financed by the well-known entrepreneur károly somossy. The works began in march 1896. It opened to the public on may 23, 1896. After a few months, visitors (among other things due to the large number of mosquitoes) turned away from the establishment, it went bankrupt and closed in october 1896. A possible restart of the complex was raised in some discussions, but this ultimately did not materialize. The buildings were later - perhaps in 1897 - demolished. Date: cc 1896 körül.
