The handle is at left. Its bottom part consists of a satyr who is embraced by a mermaid seated on the shoulder of the ewer. A swan and two girls surround the neck of the vessel. The fluted body show festoons suspended from a faun's mask. S. Date: circa 1765. Dimensions: Sheet: 24 x 54.4 cm (9 7/16 x 21 7/16 in.). Medium: graphite, pen and black ink, wash.
