Sheet of stamps 4 skilling banco 1855, from the postmuseum's collections. A stamp sheet where a quarter of the sheet is preserved. There are few surviving larger units of unused shilling banco stamps. A contributing factor was the narrow and fragile perforation which meant that the stamps were easily detached from the stamp map. The quartz sheet 4 skilling banco is, with its 25 marks, the largest known unit. The sheet has corner margin, marginal watermark and original gumming. Date: 1855.
