Sindlingen, duck fountain from 1921 based on a design by the sculptor and animal sculptor august gaul (1869–1921). The donor was the höchst city councilor and paint works director dr. Jur. Dr. Rer. Nat. Richard weidlich (1878-1960), who, among other things, had the weidlich house, berlin, am hirschsprung 50a, designed in berlin in 1931 by the berlin architect hans wormann, who emigrated to the usa in 1933, in the style of new objectivity with influences of art deco.
