The beautiful moroccan with the pitcher. Oil on canvas, signed lower middle. Painting representing a moroccan woman, probably from the north of morocco judging by the regional specificities which concern the embroidery adorning her red moroccan caftan, this one is richly embroidered with gold thread with khanjar embroidery which is specific to the caftans of northern morocco (tangier and tetouan). The woman stands, holding a jug in her hand, the long sleeves of the caftan are rolled up and are held by a tekhmal, which is moroccan jewellery, made of gold, decorated with precious stones, used to hold the long sleeves of the caftan. Her ears are adorned with gold earrings, encrusted with stones. The painting itself is a faithful representation of the clothing, jewellery and particularities found in northern morocco. Unknown date
