Scanset of 1 volume (unknown if book is part of a series, or a single volume publication). Right & left pages each show a samurai warrior (male), each is one of the 47 rōnin, & they are both in full battle-dress for their final combat (disguised as firemen), with bladed weapons (left page shows a naginata blade on a relatively short staff, right pages shows a katana). condition: both covers missing, 52 pages/26 leaves; unclear if any internal pages are missing, if so: more likely from front than back (fragments of rear cover remain in the binding, no traces of front cover are visible; existing pages appear to be contiguous. Pages are worn, stained, partially hand-coloured by a previous owner (colouring is not a part of the original, intended design, & does not follow standard conventions for costume colours of the characters).
