Fetish in the form of a bracelet. Coarse fiber cord with two coil-shaped extensions created by braiding finer cord and decorated with a pair of sewn-on shells. A white or red glass bead marks the tip on either side of the coiled extension. Date: 1892 (acquisition by the museum). Place of creation: Suriname. Collection: The National Museums of World Culture.
