In 1922, the horse tram to sloten (amsterdam) was updated: it was no longer pulled by horses, but by buses. To avoid misunderstanding, each bus carried a large sign reading "tram". This bus-pulled tramway lasted for four years, after which the rail tracks were removed and the line was replaced by an ordinary bus.
