the two-decker ‘ganges’, in two positions, at anchor in portsmouth harbour: centrally in port-broadside view, and at left, a little further away, stern-on. Around and behind her other shipping is sketched in, along with several capital ships on the stocks. Inscribed (on plate): “published by h. Moses novr 1. 1825. Ganges 84 gns h. Moses del et sculpt”.
