Drawing of a road-rail bridge over the tagus river, connecting lisbon to almada, in portugal. This structure was planned on the final years of the 19th century, but it was never built. In 1966 was inaugurated a suspension bridge beteween lisbon and almada, using a similar course. This image was originally published in the occidente magazine no. 380, of the 11th of july 1889, and scanned by the hemeroteca municipal de lisboa. Date: 1889.
