Emil august eduard leonhardi (* 19 january 1828 in freiberg; † 15 july 1905 in dresden-loschwitz) was a german landscape painter and son of the dresden ink manufacturer august leonhardi (1805–1865), who quickly became wealthy. In 1879 he acquired the disused, former hentschelmühle ("rothe amsel") in the dresden district of loschwitz and converted it into a studio, among other things.
