Innenhof des Diorama, 1904

Inner courtyard of the diorama (1904): "the image of the goddess, a colossal statue modelled by the sculptor adolf simatschek, was placed in the preferred location inside the courtyard surrounded by columns. The decoration of the gable fields, made by the same artist, also followed this idea in the symbolic representation of the fertility of the earth and its vegetation, and it was also expressed in the procession composed and painted by the painter carl hemming (hemming was co-owner of the carl hemming and witte company since 1893) based on antique vase paintings, which approached the image of the goddess along the walls of the ambulatory. ". Date: 1904.
